Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a Head of Revenue Operations & Strategy to own the full commercial lifecycle — from vision to revenue delivery. This is a revenue-first leadership role blending strategic marketing, ecosystem growth, and end-to-end sales execution to scale sponsorship and partnership revenue across APAC and beyond.
You will report to the CEO, sit on the leadership team, and drive the commercial engine of a category-defining event brand.
What you’ll do
- Own the full commercial engine — from pipeline architecture to $10M+ revenue close, guiding short/medium/long-term sponsorship strategy and driving alignment across the company
- Lead cross-cutting revenue projects — partner with growth, content, product, and ops teams to design and implement new playbooks, packages, and processes
- Operate the senior leadership revenue forum — set agenda, focus, and accountability for C-suite on pipeline health, pricing, and ecosystem partnerships
- Tackle 0→1 revenue problems — incubate new sales motions, team structures, CRM systems, and sponsor activation models from scratch
Minimum requirements
- 8+ years in strategy & operations, revenue, growth, or commercial leadership at Meta, Google, Stripe, or equivalent tech companies
- Experience owning quota, pipeline, and P&L in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- First-principles thinking — question assumptions, zoom out to what matters, rebuild from the ground up
- Data fluency — dig into metrics, forecast accurately, optimise pricing and ROI models
- Communication mastery — influence C-level, align product/engineering/sales/partnerships teams with clarity
- Influence without authority — drive outcomes through collaboration, not hierarchy
- Balance of business + technical acumen — understand blockchain ecosystems and event ops equally
- Execute in ambiguity — build systems and close deals with minimal guidance
- Thought partner to executives — challenge, advise, and co-create strategy at the highest level
Preferred qualifications
- Crypto/web3 fluency — deep experience in blockchain, DeFi, infrastructure, or institutional adoption
- Fintech or high-growth event background — e.g., sponsorship sales, partnership scaling, or conference commercialisation
- Experience running large-scale events with clear revenue goals and measurable outcomes
- Creative deal design — built innovative sponsorship models, token-gated activations, or multi-event frameworks
- APAC network — strong relationships in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Korea, Japan, or MENA crypto hubs
