Providing strategic advise to organizations to optimize their business, improve operations and risk profiles, and accelerate performance to seize the most attractive opportunities.

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Principals are experts in specific content areas, providing day-to-day leadership of complex client projects, and collaborating with Partners. They ensure on-time delivery that meets or exceeds agreed-upon goals, leveraging best practices, their own expertise, and the firm's technical competence. Principals become trusted advisors to senior clients, guiding and influencing their thinking and being viewed as experts in particular content areas.

Principals are seen as future Partners, fully engaged in building business by identifying new opportunities and creating intellectual capital through thought leadership.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the execution of individual project modules, including developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation, analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, and surfacing insights.
  • Supporting the Partner group in project delivery through accurate and high-quality case execution.
  • Owning and developing executive client relationships, presenting to a wide range of audiences, and working daily with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Managing and developing the capabilities of junior consulting staff.

Experience Required:

Recognizing the diversity of backgrounds and skillsets for successful candidates, our client seeks high-caliber individuals to join their team. Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or familiarity with sectors such as Life Insurance, General Insurance, Health, Reinsurance, and Asset/Investment Management.
  • An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
  • Thematic experience in areas such as:
    • Strategy: Portfolio and product, growth, distribution, internationalization, M&A.
    • Operations: Claims, underwriting, technology, operating models, post-merger integration.
    • Financial Effectiveness: Risk, capital, asset valuation, models, regulation.
  • A track record of leading and managing teams or work streams, delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced and demanding environments.
  • Strong background in strategic problem-solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
