Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented A&H Sales Team Lead to join our Clients esteemed organisation, one of the top 10 largest P&C insurance firms. As the champion of the Accident & Health (A&H) department, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales initiatives for both Group and Individual A&H insurance products. Your primary responsibility will be to establish new business development opportunities while nurturing and maintaining relationships with existing clients. In addition, you will actively promote their current and new A&H products and build strong connections with brokers. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic professional with a proven track record in insurance sales and leadership to make a significant impact in the insurance industry.

 

Responsibilities:

 

New Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base for A&H insurance products.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate target markets, including segments such as corporate clients, associations, and affinity groups.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales campaigns and promotional materials.

 

Client Relationship Management:

  • Nurture and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to understand their evolving needs, provide customized insurance solutions, and address any concerns or issues.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, offering guidance on insurance coverage, policy renewals, and risk management strategies.

 

Product Promotion:

  • Develop a deep understanding of A&H insurance products and their unique value propositions.
  • Actively promote and educate clients and brokers about the features, benefits, and advantages of A&H product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, presentations, and training materials to support product promotion initiatives.

 

Broker Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, insurance agencies, and other distribution partners.
  • Provide brokers with ongoing support, training, and product knowledge to enable them to effectively sell A&H insurance products.
  • Collaborate with brokers to develop joint marketing and sales strategies to expand market reach and increase sales volumes.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Set sales targets and monitor team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to disseminate important information, share best practices, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in insurance sales, particularly in the Accident & Health (A&H) segment.
  • Strong understanding of the P&C insurance industry, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in new business development, client relationship management, and product promotion.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
