We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Infrastructure Engineering to lead and manage the strategy, design, and support of server and compute systems and services, including but not limited to Windows and UNIX OS, hardware platforms, virtualization, hypervisor systems, and disaster recovery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technology teams, building relationships with the IT team, and maintaining leading-edge technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the infrastructure engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and services
• Develop and implement strategies for server and compute systems, virtualization, and disaster recovery
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the IT team to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives
• Supervise and guide the team in implementing and maintaining leading-edge technology solutions
• Lead and manage large complex projects, including project management, and work on cloud and infrastructure initiatives
• Ensure data center resources are managed efficiently and effectively
• Manage virtual hosting platforms and ensure they are optimized for performance and reliability

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering
• LOMO certification or equivalent experience
• Experience managing data center resources and virtual hosting platforms
• Strong team leadership and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of the insurance or financial industry is a must
