We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Underwriting Solutions Lead to oversee the underwriting solutions for life and health products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product development, digital underwriters, risk controls, and other key stakeholders to drive profitable and sustainable growth through the implementation of innovative underwriting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of underwriting solutions for life and health products
• Work closely with internal and external clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment on underwriting strategies
• Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to inform decision-making
• Provide leadership and guidance to the underwriting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in life and health underwriting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
• Fluency in Japanese and English at a business level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of driving results and delivering value to stakeholders

Location is based on Tokyo. Successful candidates will be given working visa.
