Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment life cycle for quantitative roles, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding
- Quantitative Talent Specialist: Demonstrate a deep understanding of quantitative roles, particularly in e.g., algorithmic trading, financial modeling. Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and market conditions to effectively identify and attract top talent
- Desk Ownership: Take ownership of your recruitment desk, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented approach to meet and exceed hiring targets
- Networking and Relationship Building: Leverage your extensive network within the quantitative community to source and engage top-tier talent. Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and industry influencers
- Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills. Clearly articulate the company's mission, values, and opportunities to potential candidates
- Aggressive and Hungry Approach: Demonstrate a proactive and assertive attitude in identifying and pursuing potential candidates. Actively seek out and engage with passive candidates through various channels
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to understand hiring needs and align recruitment strategies with business objectives. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
- Problem Solving: Display strong problem-solving skills to address recruitment challenges creatively. Provide solutions that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Peoples Skills: Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly. Foster a positive candidate experience and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical recruiting, with a focus on quantitative roles
- Proven track record of successful placements in quantitative roles
- Extensive network within the quantitative community
- Strong understanding of quantitative concepts and technologies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Results-driven with a proactive and assertive approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
