Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations Director to lead and oversee the development and implementation of e-commerce strategies. 


  • Develop and implement effective e-commerce strategies to drive online acquisition, increase sales revenue, and improve operational efficiency
  • Analyze sales and traffic data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize performance
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, technical teams, and operations to ensure a seamless user experience and efficient operations
  • Lead and manage the e-commerce team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve team and individual goals
  • Work closely with external stakeholders and clients to understand their requirements and align e-commerce strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with media agency to develop and execute promotional campaigns to drive customer engagement and sales growth
  • Utilize copywriting skills to create compelling and persuasive content for e-commerce platforms
  • Possess a good visual eye for design to ensure the website's UI/UX is visually appealing and user-friendly
  • Experience with SAP Hybris operations or similar platforms to manage e-commerce operations efficiently
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in e-commerce to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless integration of Adobe Experience Manager and other relevant technologies


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus
  • At least 10 years experience in E-commerce / digital marketing
  • Proven experience as an E-commerce Operations Director or a similar role, with a track record of successfully developing and implementing e-commerce strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw actionable insights
  • Experience working with payment gateways, luxury brands, and supply chain stores
  • Excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in website UI/UX design principles
  • Familiarity with SAP Hybris operations or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and other relevant e-commerce technologies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Candidate with experience can be considered for Director grading
