Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations Director to lead and oversee the development and implementation of e-commerce strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective e-commerce strategies to drive online acquisition, increase sales revenue, and improve operational efficiency
- Analyze sales and traffic data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize performance
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, technical teams, and operations to ensure a seamless user experience and efficient operations
- Lead and manage the e-commerce team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve team and individual goals
- Work closely with external stakeholders and clients to understand their requirements and align e-commerce strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with media agency to develop and execute promotional campaigns to drive customer engagement and sales growth
- Utilize copywriting skills to create compelling and persuasive content for e-commerce platforms
- Possess a good visual eye for design to ensure the website's UI/UX is visually appealing and user-friendly
- Experience with SAP Hybris operations or similar platforms to manage e-commerce operations efficiently
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in e-commerce to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless integration of Adobe Experience Manager and other relevant technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus
- At least 10 years experience in E-commerce / digital marketing
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Operations Director or a similar role, with a track record of successfully developing and implementing e-commerce strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw actionable insights
- Experience working with payment gateways, luxury brands, and supply chain stores
- Excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in website UI/UX design principles
- Familiarity with SAP Hybris operations or similar platforms
- Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and other relevant e-commerce technologies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Candidate with experience can be considered for Director grading
