Job Description
Our client is a competitive Global Proprietary Trading Firm/Private Equity Fund, running a substantial AUM. The Trading Unit is well structured by a team of talented IT professionals and quants from famous trading firms and top universities.
Quant Researcher:
- Responsible for conducting quant research and statistical analyses to identify and evaluate trading strategies across various asset classes
- Develop and implement quant models and algorithms to extract specific insights and signals for trading purposes
- Deal with a high volume of data sets to perform market prediction, scenario analysis, risk analysis, and backtesting on trading strategies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
- Hands-on programming in Python and SQL
- Proficient in Statistics (like time series, machine learning, and regression analysis)
- Experience in working through large data and/or trading instruments and utilizing algorithms
- Fluent in both Chinese Mandarin and English
(Senior) Middle Office Trading Analyst
- Develop and maintain daily trade reconciliation across multiple asset classes, as well as investigating the reconciliation breaks
- Assist front office in trade planning and decision making e.g monitoring media and digital asset exchange announcement
- Engage in the design of trading components such as risk portfolio, price logs, pre and post-trade analysis, and product analysis
- Bachelor of Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Middle Office Operation/Trading/Business Analysis or related field
- Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and Python
- Good understanding of the software/trading lifecycle
- Basic experience in xPath or Regex is a plus (willingness to learn)
- Fluent in both Chinese Mandarin and English
