Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly talented and motivated individual to join our client team as the Director ESG Risk, Analytics & Reporting. As the Director ESG Risk, Analytics & Reporting, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risk management strategies, overseeing our ESG analytics and reporting processes, and driving our client sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's ESG risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business strategies, operations, and decision-making processes.
  • Lead the design and implementation of ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting frameworks, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and consistency.
  • Monitor and evaluate ESG risks and opportunities across the organization, providing recommendations for risk mitigation and value creation.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging ESG trends and regulations, translating them into actionable strategies and initiatives.
  • Drive the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, rating agencies, and industry associations.
  • Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to effectively communicate ESG performance and progress to investors and other stakeholders.
  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals to ensure high-quality ESG risk management, analytics, and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, environmental sciences, sustainability). A master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • 6 years of experience in ESG risk management, analytics, and reporting within a financial services or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG issues, frameworks (e.g., SASB, GRI, TCFD), and reporting standards (e.g., CDP, DJSI).
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing ESG risk management strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify insights and trends.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying ESG-related information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.
  • Experience in managing relationships with investors, rating agencies, and industry associations is a plus.
  • Professional certifications related to ESG (e.g., CFA, CSR-P) are highly desirable.
