Purpose of the Position:

We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Enterprise Solutions to lead our corporate business development and trade marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, and community building activities for our enterprise product portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess visionary leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management and business development, and possess industry expertise.

Major Job Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals specializing in business development sales, trade marketing, community building, and partnerships.
  • Set clear goals and provide guidance to achieve revenue targets through effective marketing strategies and activities.
  • Continually review and enhance our enterprise product portfolio based on client feedback, market intelligence, and emerging trends.
  • Ensure data-driven reporting and feedback discipline, represent the business line in cross-functional meetings, and integrate evolving client needs into product design considerations.

2. Business Development & Sales Strategy:

  • Formulate data-driven sales strategies and tactics by understanding industry-specific client needs and challenges.
  • Evaluate market potential, develop target client lists, and deliver tailored solutions to meet clients' requirements.
  • Expand global reach through strategic reseller/agent models and cultivate long-term partnerships.
  • Retain, upsell, and grow existing corporate clients, optimizing their share of wallet.
  • Oversee strategic client activities, including sales presentations, pipeline management, solution design, and commercial negotiations.
  • Nurture high-value strategic relationships with key clients, identifying upselling opportunities and fostering long-term partnerships.

3. Trade Marketing and Community Engagement:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive trade marketing and corporate community strategy to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring accountability for ROI and key metrics, including sales conversion.
  • Build and execute an engaging corporate community strategy, including programs and activities to grow our CEO corporate community.
  • Foster relationships and engagement with key community members, serving as a principal ambassador for the community.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in customer-driven strategic business development and enterprise/corporate sales and marketing, preferably in media, professional services, or finance industries.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a sales and marketing team, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • In-depth knowledge of the business landscape and a strong network of existing clients.
  • Experience selling business intelligence or corporate products with subscription-based business models.
  • Track record of leading multifunctional teams and successfully launching products that meet market needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English, with strong sales communication, presentation, and pitching abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ability to transform data into actionable insights, identifying issues, and suggesting solutions.
  • A solutions-driven mindset, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and experience with presentation and data analysis tools such as Google Slides, Docs & Sheets, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, managing various relationships and delivering results within tight timelines.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a high-freedom, high-accountability environment.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Cantonese or other Asian languages would be an advantage.
