Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Director of Engineering to join our client team. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to our engineering department, ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects, managing a team of engineers, and driving innovation within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in the IT industry, with a strong background in programming languages and hands-on technical experience. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills to guide and inspire the engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
• Drive the engineering strategy and align it with business goals
• Oversee the development and execution of IT projects within budget and timeline
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient project execution and successful product launches
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflow and foster innovation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in the IT industry, with a focus on software development and engineering
• Experience in Web3, building innovative platforms is desired
• Strong technical background and experience in multiple programming languages and frameworks
• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams, including team building and mentoring
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
