Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js or Java)
Our clients cover fintech, asset management, quant fund, consulting firms, crypto and luxury retail. There are multiple Software Developer roles aimed at candidates with a strong backend background!

Responsibilities:
- Develop a secure backend system that gathers and processes data with a high volume (Quant Trading talents: Develop the core trading engine)
- Work closely with teammates through code review and sharing sessions to analyze requirements and solve complex problems
- Work closely with Senior Management, Frontend Developers, Product Managers and Designers to understand the technical needs of the company’s projects
- Mentor and coach junior teammates

Requirements:
- 4-8 years of hands-on backend development experience is preferred. Fresher candidates will be considered
- Preferred background: finance, payment, retail, luxury, commercial (Node.js or Java); quant trading (Java)
- Java candidates: A strong commercial background is preferred. For candidates with a quant trading background, trading engine experience is preferred and both crypto and traditional asset candidates are welcomed
- Node.js candidates: Strong entrepreneurship. Willing to build things from scratch with like-minded teammates
- Fluent in English is a must. Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly preferred
